Meet Dr. Lynne Sowers
Why Chiropractic?
Dr. Lynne’s family traveled a lot while her dad was in the military. In Virginia, while preparing for track and field season at the age of 16, a weight-lifting session injured her back. She was prescribed medical solutions that did not improve her condition.
Her condition got progressively worse until discussions about surgery started. Her mother took her to see a chiropractor, who diagnosed her with a disc herniation. After beginning care, the pain disappeared and Dr. Lynne was able to resume normal activities.
At the age of 30, she injured the disc again and was helped by chiropractic care. Then at the age of 40, she re-injured the disc so badly that it appeared surgery would be the only answer for her non-contained disc.
It took over a year for Dr. Lynne to be functional again and years to get back to work and living life. Having experienced severe pain, she has compassion for those living with it and the subsequent limitations. She enjoys helping people improve mobility, activities, and enjoying life.
